Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of WebCheck, published by Ahmed (contact@getwebcheck.com). By using the service, you accept them.
1. The service
WebCheck analyses public web pages with Google Lighthouse (through Google PageSpeed Insights) and presents the results as reports with explanations and suggested fixes. The service is in beta and evolves regularly.
2. Accounts
You can use WebCheck without an account. An account is created by signing in with Google; it is personal and you are responsible for activity under it. You can delete it at any time from the “My account” page.
3. Plans and limits
- Without an account: 3 analyses per day. Free account: 5 analyses per day. Pro: 200 analyses per day (fair use).
- A “mobile + desktop” audit counts as two analyses. Results served from the short-term cache do not count.
- To protect the service, an hourly limit per connection also applies. Limits may change; paid features will not be reduced during a period you have already paid for.
4. Pro subscription and payment
Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription. Orders, payments, invoices and applicable taxes are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record; its terms also apply to the purchase. WebCheck never receives your card details.
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from “My account”: you keep Pro until the end of the period already paid, and you are not charged again.
If prices change, the new price applies only from your next renewal, and we will tell you beforehand.
5. Refunds
Refunds are described in our refund policy.
6. Acceptable use
- Only audit public pages that you own or are allowed to test.
- Do not try to bypass limits, overload the service, automate requests outside the website, or resell the service without our written agreement.
- Do not submit addresses containing passwords, tokens or personal data.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
7. Results
Results come from automated lab measurements. They are indicative, can vary between runs and do not guarantee search ranking, accessibility compliance or the absence of defects. They do not replace a review by a professional.
8. Availability
We aim to keep WebCheck available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The service depends on third parties (Google PageSpeed Insights, Cloudflare, Lemon Squeezy) whose outages are outside our control.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, WebCheck is provided “as is” and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the 12 months before the event. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
10. Intellectual property
The WebCheck site, brand and software remain our property. You may freely use, share and present the reports you generate, including with your clients.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. For important changes affecting paid subscriptions, we will inform subscribers in advance.
